tiger Rudi Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Time for a change, Shanks being one of the subs surely. Quote

Deviskan Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 We need to get another attacker on…Brown or Shankland. Quote
thehibsareintheirbeds Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Got to be time for shanks now. Need some composure in final third Quote
RENE Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Why on earth is Shankland not on. We're struggling up front and need something different. Carver going on about Shankland pushing to get picked for next year and Clarke doesn't play him.how ca he prove himself on the bench. Quote

Ffs it was a decent shot through several players, not unstoppable by any stretch but **** me the main and real blame is with the defending for me. Quote
basscom Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Regarding both Georgia goals. Question:- would Craig Gordon have saved them? Answer:- yes Quote

Having said that blaming him for the 2nd goal is a nonsense. I don't think anyone is "blaming him", and saying that he was entirely at fault, but maybe that he could have done better? Yes - the defence was poor. But a better keeper, (eg. Craig Gordon) would maybe have saved that. And BTW, I thought Clark could also have done better at the first. As mentioned on commentary, his positioning was dodgy - which reminded me of the free kick HIbs scored at the end of last season. His postioning was rank there as well. Sorry - but he's just not good enough for Hearts, which means he should be nowhere near the national team Quote

Tommy Brown Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Terrible free kick About 7 players in or near the wall. Flick a cross to left side and flood players over there. Quote

jbee647 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 As an aside, Clarke is a decent keeper at our level, but Gordon is an outstanding keeper at our level, the best in our history in fact and will be impossible to replace it’s not Clark’s fault he’s not as good as Craig Gordon, when Gordon retires we better be prepared for a significant drop off in quality In goalkeepers in the future Quote

Ohh I agree about Zander Clark, he had a good spell with uswhen he was originally called up, otherwise, and unfortunately it's been a slow slide towards bang average. Quote
