Ian Ferguson free kick v Bayern in UEFA quarter finals.

I can’t believe that was 36 years ago.

Not of importance but in terms of sheer class, Pinilla at Pittodrie without a shadow of a doubt. I'd challenge anyone to find a better worked team goal than that.

Was the first one that crossed my mind. What a night in the old shed.

Just limiting this to a top 10 that I have actually witnessed would be very difficult. Off the top of my head and in no particular order;

Humphrys v Dundee Utd

Ferguson v Bayern

Colquhoun v Motherwell

Smith v Aberdeen

Simms v Hibs

Kingsley v Hibs

Hartley v Hibs

Cochrane v Celtic

Bozanic v Hibs

Halliday v Hibs

Stevenson vs Hibs or Olly Lee vs Hibs both at Easter Road

Like I said, it's one's where I have actually been at the game and just off the top of my head, missed both these and Ozturk v Hibs otherwise they'd probably be on the list, but then it was only a top 10

how do you define best

Best technical strike. Robbo 86 / Alim

Beat kick in the Baws: Fozzy

Most Important : Stephane Adam

Satisfaction GIRFUY: Austin McCann.

Rudi should also top a number of categories

Seen so many, very difficult to choose.

A favourite, not necessary the best.

Eammon Bannon's header at Arbroath last game of the season 1978.

But (on the fence) Super Wayne's in the cup v h1b5 ...

Pandemonium when that went in....

Here we go again.

Ferguson never scored a free kick v Bayern.

Why do folk persist with this?

All these folk witnessing a goal that never happened

Seriously though McKinleys role in that goal is seriously over looked. Ferguson himself saying how important it was and making the strike easier.

Iain Jardine scored some belters for us back in the day.

Big Janny v Killie at Tynie, not the best finish but Rudi's pass was wonderful, think it was 2 passes from our box and it was in their net.

Gary Naismith scored a great goal into the Gorgie end against the sheep in the 90s after a brilliant run down the left wing if I recall right. Apologies if I spelled Gary’s name wrong.

He was good at that. Scored a similar one at Parkhead. 2-0 down and came back to win 3-2. Gary’s was the equaliser. Now that was bedlam !!

im sticking with Robbo at Tannadice 1986 and nobody will convince me otherwise.

Of many great goals that was Robbos greatest. You can throw in Iain Ferguson v Bayern too.

Some crackers already mentioned. Ferguson strike against Bayern shall forever remain the fondest of memories. That evening was electric against a top top side. We should've beaten them over two games. A real privilege to be in attendance that evening. A wonderful European campaign.

Glyn Snodin freekick against Slavia Prague was an unbelievable strike. Pointon scored a superb goal at Easter Road on the half volley. Went in like a missile.

Robbo at Tannadice is my own favourite. You could've had 3 keepers in goal for that and they collectively would've had no chance.

DON'T SHOOT!!!!.......YAAAAAAAASSSSS!!!!!

The whole moment. All of it. The timing. Being behind. Down to 10 men.

It was a proper all hope is lost situation.

Then boom!

Bedlam
