Another inspection due...

Can’t see it passing Hampden is a bit of a bowl and you can see the water whenever anyone breaks into a jog.

Why don’t the SFA have suitable machinery to deal with an eventuality like this

i can remember the same scenario at the 1974 World Cup, Germany v Sweden and they had machines that removed surface water, that was almost 50 years ago ffs , and we are using weegies with squeegees

Goodness me 🤣

I imagine other clubs have 'skimmed' their pitches in preparation for the new season and St Mirren's hasn't yet?

Wonder what state Murrayfield is in right now... and why can't they play it at Hampden tomorrow anyway? Too scared it'll rain again? **** the SFA...

Where's the folk with garden forks putting holes in the pitch? That used to be the gold standard in water clearance in years gone by.

If the Georgians had any sense, they’d be out there sooking the pitch dry with straws to avoid Paisley

Folk seriously blaming the pitch and the stadium for this ? 10 average days of rainfall in 2 hours FFS

No, but that lack of suitable equipment and UEFAS slow descision process is embarrassing.

Why not Hampden tomorrow night? It'll be cleared by then, surely?

Even clearing water off seems completely random surely you have someone organising it to make sure it’s done systematically.

Moving it to Paisley is utter madness, but it is the SFA so no surprises there then....😂

There is clearly no drainage under the pitch.

You’d have thought so. Why the need to move it at all?

Are there any gigs at Hampden at the weekend? Is it maybe Paisley as contracts are in place to prepare Hampden for a gig?

The game shouldn’t have started at all and how the referee can declare it unplayable seconds after we score is beyond belief. I actually think it’s unfair on Georgia if we’re honest and they might and probably should protest.

UEFA having wrongly started the game are giving it every chance to continue. Not sure what they’ve done wrong outwith allowing the game to start. In an hour that pitch will be dry and perfectly playable if there is no more rain
