The abuse handed out to anyone questioning Neilsons ability as a manager over the last few years has been something else. Pant wetters, moon howlers and other abusive terms thrown with apparent impunity to people who love and care for their club and were expressing concerns over where we were going. Tell you what, some of the Neilson Defence Force need to be eating some humble pie about now, mind you I think some of them may actually support another Edinburgh team in reality Edited April 1, 2023 by HMFC
martoon
Times up but Ann won't act. She hires friends and is reluctant to sack them. No surprise in that but it has harmed Hearts in the past and looks likely to do so again. She still has a major/final/ultimate say on Neilson's position. That hasn't changed, imo. Neilson has to go now. It's clear he isn't capable of turning this around or getting a team to perform for anymore than 15 minutes every three games. Stick with him and we'll finish 5th at best. It's all very depressing.
gordiegords
That’s enough for me, time for a change, players look clueless, tired and no desire, its over.

When the custodians of a club do not value the needs of the football club as a whole over personal relationships.

A good coach, not one hamstrung by a fear of football or tutored by Levein, could get a tune out of that squad. Even allowing for missing players we are far better than we are seeing. We must twist now and hope that, even a temporary appointment, can galvanise what we have and get us 3rd. Neilson can't/wont do it, imo. Exactly. All these players are not of the same couldn't care less attitude for no good reason.Anyone who has watched football for all the years i have, can see he has lost the dressing room. I have seen it so many times at Hearts and other clubs.

Glad that everyone is finally starting to see it. Ive tried my hardest to support him over the past 6-8 months, but always knew he wasn't good enough. That's it now. No more chances. We will not finish third with Robbie at the helm. Would rather take a chance on someone else and not finish third than stick with the same shit and do even more damage to the club, the relationship between the support and the club, the relationship between the support and the players. So many positives - record season tickets, gorgie ultras adding some atmosphere, financial stability. But this has not been matched by the performances on field. Robbie out! Need to get a protest going. Been saying it for more than a few weeks bud
Scott980612
He should have went vs Brora. Steadied the ship and got us to where we are. there is no loyalty in football - we will blow 3rd if he is in charge - no doubt. time to go. we won’t challenge old firm , but with resources we’re better than this
