We WILL win, but right now I would take a draw! Never easy to say, but I have a strange feeling about this one.

+1.

I would never go into a derby with that attitude. Certainly not at Tynecastle.

If that is true he should be a goner!

Probably is true. His salivating over Celtic in recent days has been something else. A little prick. Hope he remains there as long as possible!

Will be tougher than many expect largely due to our below par defence. In saying that we are Hearts and we own Edinburgh. We will do them.

I would take a 1-0 right now , but if we did manage a big score , then I would not put it totally past him to make out we were a top outfit in a similar way , knowing that he was toast any way

No nerves no fear from me.

Total faith in our team for this one.

In saying that once over the line it's out of our hands.

Mon the Hearts.

Mad Bad and Dangerous

I'm not a big poster on here but like reading what's going on every now and then

I was a child of the 70s and 80s so my younger days memories of derbies are pretty crap, but since about 1982 give or take a few minor blips we have owned hibs.

Days like today have the potential to be another special day  !!

That's all

Have a beer. You must still be hungover from New year. We will pump the vermin. 😂

That’s just daft. Take a draw? Why? They’re defence is arguably worse than ours, especially without Porteous.

it’s a day fro the good guys.

lost in space

I am usually confident of a win up to the day of the derby - then on the morning of the game I start to get a bit worried. Not worried today as I know we have the better players. If we keep 11 on the park, we should beat them.

Hope the weathers decent.  These ultras of ours will rock us on to a tremendous victory.

I got a few butterflies reading that.

One of my favourite songs from the past year had been, "Take your drum, and eff off home!"

But now WE'VE got a drum, opinion has shifted big time.

I sit pretty near the drummer (who is MUCH appreciated and seems like a really good bloke) and those lads who get the singing going deserve all the plaudits they're receiving and they deserve all the encouragement we can give.

If true, that is miraculous.

The sound of that clash of heads at Tannadice was sickening.

We will win but it'll likely be a lot tighter than it should. These games usually are.

I'll go 2-1 Hearts.

Which would be an excellent result.

If our forward line has an on day, then an easy win.

We do have attackers who can be match winners one day and anonymous the next.

As long as at least 2 turn up, I have no worries.

I fel Gino is trying to put himself in the shop window and have a sneeky feeling this could go down as the Gino show.

If Robbie sets us up in typically over-cautious fashion in important matches then I fear a 2-2. If not, 3-1 for us.

You do realise he bet Hibs twice in a week and also another time at hampden?

I’ve got a funny feeling Stephen Humphrys will play a part today. Strong player to come of the bench.

It would be typical of Robbie to keep something up his sleeve.

Can anyone see any quotes on last goals scorer odds for him?

Looking at the lists. Colak is 2 behind but injured. Miovski has dried up. No one else currently in touching distance. Furahashi 1 ahead of Shanks so will probably beat him if he stays fit. The Place part of the bet is probably a stick on now I’d say. I took e/w as well and with penalties being handed out like confetti he’s got a huge chance here

👍

That would be a massive bonus. Harsh on Halliday but he would be the one to drop out.

I personally wouldn't start Smith but my selection was based on how I think Neilson will line us up.

i much preferred having Forrest in that position, like he was against St Johnstone. I think Robbie trusts Smith for these type of games and he will get the nod. Same applies for Halliday.

Yeah think your right

We must have made quite a bit from the ticket exchange! Been plenty popping up and re-selling instantly. I managed to get 3 but narrowly missed about another 8 or so.

I would Kevin Keegan love it if they came with that team. 3 donkeys up front with Newell and Campbell in the middle?

Johnsons not that daft . . . is he??

True , but since that game vs Aberdeen he seems to have learned how to handle that stuff , and would probably get the better of a situation like that . That wee ***** Stevenson seems to think he is allowed to try and injure him whenever we play , and nothing is done about it . Halliday winds them up more than they wind him up I think

Agree, if we need someone to come on to run at their back line cause we’re desperately needing a goal, he’s ideal.

but when we’re going for 6, 7, or 8, he’ll be perfect.
