These guys rarely have to face a proper winger during their career,

Hopefully wingers come back into fashion soon.

Yeah, they’re all “forwards” now 😆

Its what we've been crying out for. I wish Gino would have more confidence in his pace. He's probably beating every player in this league in a 100 yard dash. Instead of slowing down and trying to pull off skills, he should just be looking to drive to the byline and put those sorts of balls in.

Create one-on-one out wide, give Gino the ball and he will perform.
put Shankland in the six yard box, get the ball to him, he will score.
it’s a simple game really.

Spot on guys

Very easy to defend tho, if a team sits deeper, then the pace means little.

Celtic push high and defend high so Gino has space to get behind and he's also 1 v 1 a lot.

Tbh,His best games in general might have been against Celtic.

V rfs and other spfl teams , particularly at home when  they play a deeper defensive line and will drop back into 2 backs of 4 it's a different challenge.

Gino is then deprived of space behind, might even have 2 men on him and his lack of intelligence and use of the ball is exposed.

We played well v celtic but one template doesn't fit all, football has never been like that.

In the paat We'd beat celtic and hibs, then Airdrie or Falkirk would hammer us and as a kid I'd be wondering- how?

Every game is different.
