To Sell or Not to Sell -- that is the question

I am of the opinion that given the current position of our club we need to ensure that we get best prices for those sold then invest 50% of funds back into the team -- the other half has to go to service and reduce the debt to more manageable levels.

So if Berra goes for ?2m the we have ?1m to invest in a replacement or other players.

This should generally be something we should look to do over the next few years.

 

It is not the selling of players that is the problem -- it is what you do with the monies raised -- we are not yet big enough to ensure all our good players stay as long as we would like so we must have a good youth system , a good scouting system and a good coaching system to ensure the viable future of our club and the winning of trophies along the way.
