I doubt it's got much to do with Atkinson not being trusted, more that we're facing an extremely potent side with 2 of our best central defenders out.

When Smith was injured in the derby we changed to a back 5 instead of just swapping Atkinson on in the 4. I could be wrong but I didn't see tonight's 11 as a back 4 at first glance.

Gone for experience tonight. Not risking either Neilson or Sibbick which I personally think is the right decision. Halkett and Rowles are huge losses for us. Need McKay and Forrest to really step up for us attacking wise tonight.

Got to take whatever chances we get early on to get anything from this game. 

 

Cant help but think the constant chopping and changing isn't helping but fully behind the boys!!

I’m glad it’s no a square go we’re having with them, they look like pretty menacing. Hearts have been surprising me for 40yrs (in good a bad ways). We might just do ourselves proud tonight.

Which he has neither imo but that’s another debate for another day. For me it’s incredible that Halliday is starting games for us in Europe let alone in attacking midfield.

Because our management rate him highly and he’s going to be a member of our first team for the next couple of years at a minimum. He’s got loads of potential if people get behind him and support his development.
