Not all that far south, but not on the railway or motorway network.  I need to leave my house at 5.10 to catch buses and trains to get me to Diggers in time for opening 🍺🍺😃😃❤️❤️

Respect.

There was talk once of forming a Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire & Wiltshire alliance and perhaps run a bus to a cup final!!

I’m flying up from Heathrow for this cup final,  trains are too expensive!

Was in Hackney for 15 years, but since 2008 have been (not a million miles away) in Highbury.

Should really have got around to changing my JKB name by now...

What's your favourite boozer in the Highbury vicinity?

Do you know whether The Slip will be showing the final?  I might get the train through for a day in the pub with fellow Jambos.

I have been going to York since the late 70's for the races among other things.  Every time I go there the first place on the agenda is The Slip.  Superb pub with cracking beer on offer.  Keep out the centre and there are few crackers but this is the tops.
