Referee just making rules up as he went along, handed out some completely baffling yellow cards, but let some absolutely awful decisions go unpunished. Mané should have been sent off for diving on a yellow card, but some of the Egyptian players also should have been off for some of the fouls and blatant cheating. At least he was consistent in the decisions he was making, I guess. 0-0 in a cup final after 120 minutes is pretty diabolical, especially after being gifted a chance to open the scoring from the penalty spot after just 3 minutes. That's exactly what it is, taking the glory, but because the other penalties were so shite, he doesn't even get to take one.
