By the light

Got a lift up the road off Graham Weir, told him he was sheite and half inched his strip....still wear the shorts about the house but have to say they are a bit "roomy".... perfect for lying about the house though!

Incidently, he said they were the dirtiest team he'd played against, nipples, arm pits, baws... all nipped, twisted etc etc constantly and the age old standing on the toes used to maximum effect.

Used to this in amateur football and you expect it to go on at the highest level but I was quite surprised how much damage was done that I didn't even notice from sitting watching in the stand.

They had drawn 1-1 at Millwall

and won the Home leg 3-1 to go through on aggregate

UEFA's match report is here

Of todays squad Robbie Neilson, Michael Stewart both played but Christophe Berra was an unused sub.

I also see that our opponents had a player with the slightly amusing name of D?niel T?zs?r

D?niel T?zs?r

Was in the AEK squad when we plaed them in 06 also...

Remember an all day session in Diane's and meeting two saucy Polish girls in the Liquid Rooms later on, but that's about it!

Actually, that's not true. One of them was Slovakian!

Miserable night, miserable game, miserable performance, miserable result.

And then we had to go home in the car - didn't get back until 1 o'clock in the morning...

But best thing i had seen in a while is when one of Csabas boys was rolling around in our box like a wee baby as if he'd been shot, Gordon went over to him and picked him up under the arms (as if he was a wee kid doing a jobby on the side of the motorway and gordon was his dad) and plonked him on the touch line, classic.

Was just about to write that very thing. Although, after Gordon plunked him down, did the boy not jump up and try to have Square go at Craigy??

Remember them falling down every two seconds, didn't think Murrayfield had so many grassey knowles!
