We gave everything tonight. Hung on in the first half admirably and controlled the second half.

Missed a couple of gilt-edged chances but never hid.

Only defeated by the shitehawk officials.

Stood up in the second half. Peter Haring had a great game in the middle.

Would like to see hearts in a 4-4-2 on Sunday with the same team that finished the game tonight.

Go away with that Tartan Army "proud of a defeat" pish.

It's embarrassing.

So performance and effort means nothing.

Why?

Because we stood up to corrupt refereeing, bottles being thrown etc and gave everything.

I've watched us capitulating for years at Celtic Park, tonight we deserved so much more.

Every time before we go to Glasgow, the board is full of "don't mind if we lose, let's just have a go."

That was a go.

Afterwards it's now, "doesn't matter we lost." Okay.

We got robbed of at least a point. We never hid, never sat in, played bravely.

Should have drawn, but Celtic were the better team even though we put in a good performance. First time we haven't lost by being bad in years.

Play like that every week and hearts are golden.

I mean, maybe pleased is the word. Don't think any of us should ever be proud of defeat. Despite it being better than what we're used to through there, we've got to get past this mentality of thinking there is any honourable way to lose.

Rangers fans are usually entitled types.

In nearly 150 years, we've won 26 times at Celtic Park. We played well enough to have a chance to win tonight.

Effort should be the absolute minimum. I prefer points to go with it.

That's fair. I've been ashamed of our performances at Celtic Park many times. I've been frustrated at our lack of courage other times.

I was neither of those tonight. So maybe proud is a bit too much but still so much better than many times.

Not our usual park the bus anti football that Levein used to do in Glasgow. I’ll give Neilson credit, I genuinely think he picked and set out the team to win, so fair play for that, no issues from me.

We gave them a really good test, we missed Baningime in the middle of the park. Some good football played from us, another 3 or 4 quality players added to the squad and we’ll be getting our fair share of wins in Glasgow.

More frustrated than proud. Play well and lose is the same as play badly and lose at the end of the day.

Front players need to sharpen the heck up and learn out to shoot.

Lots of positives tonight though. Haring excellent and perhaps Neilson will have food for thought with the shape. Maybe four at the back does suit us better.

Woodburn poor again, Boyce infuriating and Smith needs put out to pasture I’m afraid.

Agreed on Smith. He's regressed a lot this year.

Gordon Ramsay

Pretty good effort.

Just wish we could have continued our surge into the last 10 mins as we seemed to tail off after a good 15 minute spell.

Bazzas right boot

Good performance.

Gordon had little to do until it went a bit like a game of basketball at the end there.

They definitely tire after 50 odd mins.

Kingsley has to hit the target, 99/100 he scores if he does.

McKay goes with his right he scores.

Couple of decent blocks as well.

Defended Well and kept them at arms left 1st half as well.

Goal looked offside and the worse decision was to stop play when Haring had the ball and their player fell over.

Poor.

We look a decent side.

Raging .

Despite Celtic being by far the better team first half and slightly edging it second half we could have took a point.

Not proud though.

Raging at the Jota incident

Raging at the throw in incident

Raging at the missile incident and the referee ushering our player to continue but stops the game to protect a hamstring .

Sadly, we will never win a title unless we can perform consistently and be victorious in Glasgow against both the arse cheeks.

Worst decision ....mate it was fekin criminal and they took the ball after and launched an attack.

We got into them late on.

Let's not kid ourselves Celtic work hard as a team.

But that was infuriating tonight.

I fekin hate the green brigade and I hate Celtic

*You're.

And it's a mindset thing. You and the others can slag them all you like, but I bet you'll never see a thread on a Old Firm forum titled "Proud" after a defeat.
