Just saying they can stick their hard feelings up their arse, the worst decision that day went against Hearts. Looking at 5-0 if they go down to 10 that early, even taking into account how bad Hearts were that day. Still believe they should have had a crack at us at their place due to a tight offside call at the end of the game. Probably WAS onside but they didn’t complain or acknowledge that they’d got off with a blatant red card in the first 5 minutes.

davemclaren
Looking at it dispassionately ( if such a thing really exists ) for a random draw you are always looking for the optimum combination of a home tie against the weakest team. We didn’t get a home tie but we certainly got one of the weakest teams so an excellent chance to progress.

Ex member of the SaS
Confident we will win without too much bother, but it's the final straw for Robbie if we do fail. Also sure he knows this and will be well prepared, but it comes back to previous threads about plan B. If things start to go wrong he needs to step up and make the right changes. Who will we get in the next round? I full expected to get Celtic the more the draw went on so no doubt it will be them next time. Millar must have burnt hands the number of times he dropped it until Aberdeen were safe. For this one reason I don't understand why they don't issue a number to every team and let a lottery style machine make the draw. People would know their team number and as soon as it's draw they would know there is no chance of giggery pokery. DS98
I was hoping they would try and move this to Rugby Park. Beechwood is a horrible place to play football having played there a few times myself. Last time I was there I actually cracked my head open off a brick wall which is about 1 meter away from the touch line. The pitch this time of year will be shocking too. SectionDJambo
Auchinleck will have been waiting for a home tie like this for years. They’re going to look after their own fans first, as it may never come round again for them. It is an obvious tie for television, as would be the Kelty v St Johnstone tie if Kelty win their replay. Our best hope of us all seeing the game could turn out to be helping Auchinleck set up a broadcast of their own with a ppv shared equally between them and us. Alloa - bus drivers and posties. Arbroath - fishermen and farmers. Brora - crofters and oil rig workers. Let's hope the miners/posties combination give us an easier game than the others did.
