Couple of thousand people there so feels like a proper event. Have seen Ratatouille, Star Wars, Return of the Jedi and - my favourite so far - Jaws. The orchestra has to get special permission to show the movie without normal soundtrack. Hope they continue post-lockdown.

Thematically, The Matrix is far more like "Dark City". (Which is also worth watching for Jennifer Connelly looking superb) i think they used some of the same sets for both dark city and the matrix, specifically the rooftop scenes. also if anyone is going to watch dark city make sure it is the directors cut. i wont say why just that i believe alex proyas the director was angry about the opening of the theatrical release and later managed to get the version he wanted released on dvd
