The Deer Hunter has a wonderful film score.

 

Famous for the incredible guitar led track Cavatina. Hauntingly beautiful and atmospheric. It appears in various scenes throughout the film taking them to a different level of cinematography. 
 

One of the greatest films ever made even better by one of the best film scores ever produced.
