It was a mistake by Bob to think we could play our way and impose the game on them imo. 

Not popular, but he should have went with 1 extra in the middle.

We are too open. 

They'll score more if this continues, easily 3 or 4. 

In saying that despite, the pressure it's taken a brilliant strike to score. 

 

However, we have had neat passages of play, we've tried to be brave on the ball and like at 0-0 if they don't get a second we will get a chance or two. 

 

They are faster, stronger and quicker, like v Celtuc the difference is obvious but rangers have more of a end product. 

 

Despite what some think if we do get beat our reaction in the next 3 games is more a tellingvsign of where we are at as a team. 

 

Still hope tho, game isn't over.

Missed the first 15 minutes but I've noticed it seems like Baningime and Devlin are being dragged far too out of position more than usual. Very uncharacteristic for them. 

 

I know the back 3 has been working for us but against a team like this I would advocate for switching to a back 4 and bringing Haring on in a 4321.

Pack the midfield and gives us more size. Too many holes being left open. Lundstram had acres of space for his goal.

 

Also feel there's an argument t that Aribo should be off but it's borderline.

Maybe narrow the pitch, get Woodburn closer to Boyce, play of him for second balls. 

Replace Mckay for Haring so Beni can push up and again we have more boddies to play of Boyce. 

Play more direct. 

 

 

In all honesty, maybe it is a test, We've played our way to see how the players could match up v rangers. 

Next time he'll change it.

Totally agree with you, I've seen plenty of tepid performances at ibrox over the years but this isn't one, simple fact is we're playing a better team but still in the game which hasn't been the case over the years.

Harsh, but he is in danger of being a nice player but with little direct  impact or effectiveness.

Some people need to get a grip. Rangers, regrettably are playing very well - probably the best they have played this season. I think we are trying to push forward but balls out to MacKay, Woodburn have been poor. Don’t lose another early in the second half , improve our passing and I still think we can get a result.

i would also say we need woodburn to try and take on tavernier rather than looking for the pass. i think he can commit him and cause him trouble. it would also give some time to get support into the box
