No one has started this yet, can't wait

Good result for Livi at the weekend.

Score first and early we could win comfortably.

However, we might have to be patient and take the narrow win.

We'll Need to defend well and defend set pieces properly.

I'd like a 3/4-0, but I'm going with a 2-0, latish goals in either half

Boyce and McKay.

Unbeaten league run to continue.

Would just like to see a win at home by whatever means necessary  - anyone know the last top flight league match we won at home?

The game v Rangers when Boycie scored on his debut? 🤔

Celtic?

We’ve won 1 in our last 6 against them all competitions - that needs setting straight

2-0 Hearts

I think we need to be winning this comfortably on Saturday. 3 points first and foremost, but to do it in style would be a massive confidence boost for everyone.

Likely to be a hard fought draw again.

Hoping for a 3 or 4-0 rogering.

😂 Completely forgot about the Celtic game (think because I wasn’t there). Oops 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Re; the game this weekend, I’d agree it will be quite hard fought but I think, we will have a bit too much for a Livingston side who will be well drilled and organised.

2-0.

Celtic first game this season 🤷

Everything will click into place. Goal before HT then another 1 or 2 near the end when Livi get a bit more adventurous.

Boyce to get at least 1.

Think we'll struggle to break down a hard working side. Fans frustrations adding to our players nerves.

A lucky break in front of goal could be all it takes to swing things our way. Keen to see woodburn try his luck again from any distance!!

My first game back at Tynecastle since the Kilmarnock 3/2 defeat 🤢

Can't wait for Saturday I was hoping it would be a goal fest! someone is due a hammering from us and I was hoping it would take place on Saturday THEN Livi go and beat Celtic 😂

Professional performance from Hearts they will camp in their 18 yard box and hope to catch us off guard with a break away 3-0 Hearts for me. Get an early goal take control of the game.

Posted

Livi have another tough game tonight so we should be starting with a very high tempo on Saturday.

Early goal makes all the difference in these games as the longer it goes on it becomes almost impossible to break these stuffy teams down.

Posted

Their result from the weekend masks a very poor start to the season. On paper its a team we should be beating comfortably, they have lost a few of their better players from last season, we need to come out and be all guns blazing. Looking forward to a Saturday 3pm kick off at home!!

Cant get beat by this management team full of thugs

Would love for robbie to send the lads out for a high tempo, quick start, esp with them playing tonight.

Woodburn & McKay supporting Boyce, as they're both shown flashes of what they can do. Get the crowd going, aiming for an early goal.

As long as we stand up to their aggressive play, we should have the quality to get the win.

Very similar to what I was planning to post. Don’t let them settle.

Better players, home advantage, and an unbeaten start to the season should equal Hearts win.

Mind you, I said similar before the RC game.

I have predicted us to win a lot recently but I am going for a defeat on Sat.

Here is why:

We are not that great at home

Livi have had our number a lot recently

GMS will play - he is ****ing dire and will no doubt miss his weekly sitter

I can see us getting a red card (probably Haring)

We create so much but continually fire so many blanks - it is like watching the national team

I said that when we played Aberdeen.  They had not long touched down on the airport tarmac after a 3,000 + mile round trip and they looked very fit.

Anything but a win will be very disappointing. Don’t think it will be easy though as they typically put up a good fight.

Surely all valid points though?

Need to get Haring back beside Beni in midfield for this and hopefully Smith be back but expect home win

So far we have played 3 games at home against teams who all finished in the top 4 last season. These two home games coming up provide better opportunities imo, though Motherwell have hit some form.

Think this is the time to start Devlin without too many changes.

He’s had his taste now, so a home game is where I’d look to introduce him from the start.

We’ll need plenty energy to dominate v this team who’ll come out to hound us at every opportunity.

I look at the positives. Some team is going to get a doing and it may well be Livingston.

I don't dwell on negatives.

I am enjoying this season and see a lot of progress and a team that will develop into a top 3 side.

Sure it's not all perfect but it's improving and it's a damn sight better than it's been for years.

Looking at how many chances we create I certainly agree that if we can start firing real bullets instead of blanks then some team is going to take a tanking form us soon.

Posted

If Benjamin Button doesn't play I would feel more confident.

Posted

We have played 770 minutes of football v Livingston without scoring a goal.
