Feel bad for Hungary, they were never 3-0 bad today.  Could have been 1-0 up, played well on the break, and were solid defensively. Portugal had plenty of the ball but just couldn't do anything with it for 80 odd minutes.  They just looked absolutely knackered by the end, and their defence made a couple of mistakes which cost them all 3 goals.

That late goal ****** quite a few of us in our predictor league and only one person had 3-0. Was raging thinking I was going to pull further ahead near the top of the league but now it's tighter.

Sorry not sure what your on about regarding “women’s consent”

when did this happen?

2009, wasn't enough evidence for a criminal case, but he has paid a substantial amount of hush money.

That's why he's one of the greats. Can do **** all for 90mins and walk off with a brace or a hattrick. Not many can make that kind of impact

People need to remember he's 36 now. He isn't going to be tearing up and down a wing causing mayhem for 90 mins. He's evolved his game over the years and his numbers speak for themselves and they'll only increase.

The excitement, the anticipation, the hope.

The bigger question is how to beat the likes of Italy, Belgium and Portugal. Who all look to have stronger, more experienced squads. And that's before we've seen France.

Maybe they will start to ask these questions.

He deserved the injury he received after that second challenge. The truth is he should have been off after the first. The referee bottled it completely.

That Hungary match is kind of how it would have went for Scotland.

Looking good for a draw against a top team then lose 3 late goals

I see they showed Schumacher on Battiston again in the 1982 WC semi.

WTF has to be gained from showing that again?

Wouldn't have been surprised if he was on something that day. He looked like a man possessed in the tunnel before the match

Both managers today are geniuses.

Proper analysis would certainly say more about how France play. It's a little more uncertain about Germany but should be interesting.

Though we do have Ally McCoist to be fair.

just switched on - are we playing England tonight?

Seems that the top players only become really great players if they make it in ingerlund according to these "experts"

France deserve to win every time on the basis of their national anthem alone.

Germany's is a dirge by comparison.

I've noticed something with the kits. Seems to be no part of one kit can clash with any part of the other team

Sweden wore all yellow v Spain due to blue shorts

Hungary wore all red v Portugal due to white shorts

Its a strange one for the French... they have heard the German national anthem so frequently they know all the words🤣

It really is quite pitiful how insular the BBC/ITV are.

Very much similar to Luiz Ronaldo post injury, all about burst of pace over short distances and intelligent movement.

Commentators saying both sides would settle for a draw but hope they don't play for one. My money is on a draw!

'England have nothing to fear' really should be the discussion.
