Looks like a second rounder and a prospect for Vanek.

Its a conditional 2nd round pick.

So the Isles have had two 30 goal scorers at various points this season and Garth Snow has turned them into a former 2nd round pick playing in Sweden, and a conditional 2nd round pick, and have in the process lost next seasons 1st round pick.

Garth Snow - Legend.

Looking like Stempniak to Pens is official. Just waiting to see who goes the other way.

I'm signing off just now troops. Been at it for nearly 10 hours now. My eyes are slowly turning square.

Nice work.

Prospect appears to be Collberg

:sob:

I was looking forward to seeing Collberg play for the Habs as well. Always liked Vanek but I doubt he'll be in Montreal after the summer.

Just been reminded the original Vanek trade included a 1st and a 2nd round pick. So the Isles turned Moulson and a 1st round pick into Sebastian Collberg.

Has he come out and explained himself yet?

He seems to put if down to teams waiting to see what happened to Ryan Kesler, which left little time for a deal.

As an aside, the clocks go forward in the States tonight. That means earlier face offs for a couple of weeks.

Some early games today with the Blues vs Avs the pick of them. Face off at 8pm.

Cheers for letting us know.

Might try and watch 2am face off in San Jose when I get back in tonight.

I'm going to try and stay up for the Wild-Stars game. Modano's having his number retired. I was a big fan. I might be a bit like this :sob: tonight.

:sob: indeed.

Another ******* shite result for the habs too. Haste ye back Carey.

It was emotional. He tried hard to hold back the tears. :sob:

I wouldnt worry about getting pumped of the Sharks. We did as well in what was, apparently, one of our worst performances of the season.

In other news, two of the female goalies in the Olympics, Shannon Szabados and Noora Raty, have signed with men's teams - the former for Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL:

and the latter, from next season, for Kiekko-Vantaa of the Finnish 3rd Division (I think):

Seems Peverley has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat.

He's been taken to hospital and is conscious and talking.

Didn't realise he'd had an operation for it 6 months ago...

This from tsn.ca

"But for several anxious minutes on the ice, the Stars stood in stunned silence, clearly in distress, unsure what had happened to a player just six months removed from undergoing a procedure to correct an irregular heartbeat."

Bruins are playing tonight I think.

Might watch it unless there's a good reality TV show on.

Looking forward to it. Seems like months since I've seen a Habs game!

Hopefully young Carey is back in nets.

Rumours are that Carey is out :sob:

Wonder if Dubnyk will get a start? Budaj hasn't looked great in the starter role.

Heard yesterday Price wouldn't be ready. Most times he stands on his head against the Bruins anyway so might be good for us.

Should be a good game, hopefully we're better than the last one.

Watched Leafs/Sharks game last night and SJ look worryingly good.

Looking forward to Habs/Bruins tonight and thankfully on at a reasonably sensible time...local boozer shuts at midnight and only ?2 a pint for ale so will have a wee booster beforehand :2thumbsup:

Don't mind Budaj but may change my mind depending what happens
