when we play our own game we look really dangerous, but we keep getting sucked in to playing the Boks way.

If Curry is the best No7 in the British Isles its a shit show.

What is Gatland thinking about, there must be about 4-5 better

Honestly worst thing that could have happened

The Boks brand of non rugby wins again

Sorry day for rugby.

Well done Vunipola. A prop who can't scrum and conceded penalty after penalty.

Congratulations to Gatland on selecting Sinckler and Vunipola, the worst props in international rugby.

Well bringing Liam Williams in was a master stroke by Gatland. Cost 14 points.

Playing Curry was a masterstroke as he conceded so many penalties.

Bringing on Murray was a masterstroke as he spends do much time talking to ref, he forgot to look at ball.

Bringing on Vunipola and Sinckler ensured we barely won a scrum.

Starting with Biggar cost us 3 points.

Gatland cost that game with selection.

100%.

I actually detest him and his dire brand of rugby and that was long before this current Lions borefest.

Players are gutted says the lassie in the studio.

Camera shows Farrell and Hogg pishing themselves.

Hibs wank.

TBF - Williams had a 'mare, and cost the try and blew a 2on1 in the first half. Biggar should never have started with that much strapping on his leg - clearly something wrong. Both Farrell and Hogg can feel hard done by to be out of the 23 given those circumstances...

I look forward to the Welshmen who were so against Hogg and VDM explaining why Williams cost the match and Adams was utterly anonymous.

They have not played in a competitive game for 18 months,a game in which they took 30 points off England and won the world cup..

They go one down in the series but still win it and scoring as many tries

as the Lions. Not a lot but enough

No fans there to support them.

A win is a win.I think they will be pretty happy.

Gatland pretty much threw Finn under the bus with his post-match comment. "It was a really good performance [from Finn Russell], but then he knocks the ball on at the end". What an ignorant twat.

Gatland trying to cover his backside. Lions lost because he insisted on keeping Tom Curry starting when he concedes so many penalties and stopped try in first half with his stupidity.

The English pack, 7 out of 8, simply failed in last 5 minutes. Whether ref was fair, he allowed SA to reset but penalised Lions, is questionable, but it didn't help that Sinckler kept complaining whilst Conor Murray spent so much time talking he forgot to play the ball.

Liam Williams had a mare, gave away 14 points, yet was supposed to be the answer.

Russell was good, kicked excellently, and created more than Farrell and Biggar are capable of.

Gatland is a small bitter man.

He's a welt.

Hopefully that'll be the last we see of the bitter fud and hopefully the last we see of the turgid Warrenball from the touring side.

Pretty much how I see it.

Looks a very odd decision to play Curry in 3 tests despite not starting for England in the 6N in favour of the player of the 6N, and probably the pre-test Tour...Smacks of one-upmanship on Eddie Jones? Or was it to pander to the English media who believe Curry to be the best flanker in the World based on his club rugby? Outcome is that Curry gave away an hell of a lot of penalties because he doesn't have that internatianal experience...

You misunderstand me. Nothing but respect for there ability to win, but booting the ball up in the air on EVERY occasion isn't much of a spectacle.

In the second test I think the No 10 kicked it every time he got it.

No doubt it is effective but it is brutal to watch

Speaking to a commentator who's been writing on rugby for  30 yrs+  and who's been on 5 Lions tours. He reckons media pressure has  a huge  part to play in Test team selection .

I think the disproportionate number number of Englishmen in the side backs that up -  given how rank they were in tha 6 Nations -  and the constant selection ofTwickenham's favourite kamikazee kid  😝 Tom Curry over Hamish Watson is looking mighty strange given the 2-1 defeat & form of both players, leading up to the test matches.

He was no worse in the third test than he had been in the first two. We could all see it coming; giving up the penalty for what should have been a maul try and a handful more giving scoring opportunities.

He and Williams were the two onfield who did the most damage to the Lions' chances but Gatland has to carry the can for selection and tactics.
