Can't believe @Seaside Dave couldn't get back to sleep. I struggled to keep my eyes open Well done to Carlos. Ferrari are the masters of shooting yourself in the foot and replacing him with a has been is up there. Hahaha only thing that kept me up was a few of my mates had sent abut 50 voice recording in our football group chat lol
Taffin
Good race. Enjoyed that. Nice to see offset tyre strategies again and a point for Tsunoda at home 🎉

The king back on top of the throne too. Great drive from sainz as well. Checo needs to constantly beat him I feel or he could be red bull driver

Checo needs to constantly beat him I feel or he could be red bull driver i dont think red bull would go for sainz as no 2 driver, wasnt there some issues between MV and CS when they were teammates previously? however sainz should get another seat for next season, he is out performing leclerc and only behind leclerc in the standings due to missing that race because of his appendix surgery

Reading that Red Bull could enforce some sort of ban, not sure how much truth there is in it mind you.
SectionDJambo
Red Bull Racing doesn't seem to be a particularly happy place to work. Formula 1 is a very competitive sport, which will bring tensions from time to time, but this current malaise is being said to be down to the behaviour of Christian Horner. In his role as leader, he is responsible for all factors that make a successful team. If it looks like his behaviour is going to begin to dismantle the successful team, he should be replaced before the damage is done. For the sake of the sport, it would probably be better if he is left free to reduce the Red Bull performance so that we can enjoy GPs without knowing who is going to win, barring an unusual event, before lights out. milky_26
i'm sure newey said recently that if he left red bull it would not be to ferarri but to mercedes or aston martin. I wonder if alonso signed on for another two years knowing newey is going to aston?

Day@theraces Posted Sunday at 23:59 Share Posted Sunday at 23:59 Congrats to Lando. Safety car couldn't have come at a better time but his lap times were at the point it may not have mattered. Genuinely happy for him.
Tazio Posted Monday at 00:05 Share Posted Monday at 00:05 (edited) Just watching the end of the race now, the other drivers seem genuinely happy for him. Very nice of Alonso to come out the pit to congratulate him and then go to the McLaren team. Edited Monday at 00:06 by Tazio
