Lots of the x-wing y-wing pilots were cut from the Battle of Yavin at the end of A New Hope and got their moment of fame in this battle instead. Trying to pick out the parts filmed in the late 1970s is good fun. A nice touch in an excellent set piece. A briiliant spoof of film noir films . Steve Martin is brilliant . He has been great in so many films . I love film noir films .
