Made me cry on a transatlantic flight.

(Not Lebowski, unless crying with laughter counts)

In my opinion, the train station scene in The Untouchables, is one of the best ever.

Any others?

There's nothing like a "pram scene" : this classic scene from a classic movie.

Still one of the funniest scenes ever.  Amazing humour.

I'm giggling like a schoolgirl again watching it.

I was stoned out my head when I watched it for the first time and I had to stop it as I had tears running down my face.    Then the ashes scene later on.

Also the Baptism/Multiple Murder scene in The Godfather is hard to beat

I know it’s not as critically lauded but I liked the Godfather 3 in particular the murders at the Opera towards the end , brilliant

Sadly just been removed from Netflix again.

One of the funniest films ever IMO.

The Cohen Brothers make great films.

The beach landing in Saving Private Ryan is my favourite.

Hugely impressive but not something I’d be in any rush to watch again.

I love em all. Including III. I think Talia Shire is brilliant in it

Well worth it, one of those films that doesn’t have any excess dialogue at all in it.

Some US veterans who fought at Omaha beach have said the scene was close to the real thing.

The scene in True Romance with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper talking about the Italians.

"cos you, you're part eggplant." 😁

Christopher Walken is excellent in that scene.

Which I exactly why it’s impressive and difficult to watch.

The final gunfight in Shane is a classic but really only the conclusion to the tension building from the scenes before as he has to make the decision to do what he needs to.

Probably Alan Ladd's best film.

The final shootout in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is very good cinema cranking up the tension imo.

great film. Have you seen the wolf of snow hollow?

Hadn't heard of it until you posted that but it'll be the next film I watch now.

I honestly don't think I've laughed so much watching a movie as I did watching Thunder Road. It's so ****ing sad too. 😁

My favourite too. I also think the scene with Hitlers meltdown in ‘Downfall’ is incredible, but sadly ruined by the internet community

Yep I agree . One of the only times in films though when the sequel was even better than the first film ! Godfather 3 had an interesting Storyline about Michaels attempted redemption, which didn’t go to plan obviously for him . Yes Talia shire was good in this one

My favourite film of all time , well it ties with “ The Silence of the Lambs “ and “ All about Eve” probably the 3 best ensemble acting films I’ve seen . This is one of the numerous great scenes in “One flew over the Cuckoos nest “ when Nurse Ratchet starts to lose control of her authority and power over the inmates and in particular MacMurphy ! Outstanding in every way . The ending is superb .

This and the opening post about the Untouchables train scene.

Think I can quote the entire So You're Sicillian scene off by heart now.
