GinRummy Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 A lot of missed chances last weekend so hopefully have our shooting boots on this week. I fancy a tweak in formation with two up front and McEneff and Big Gnando involved in our goals ICT 2 Hearts 4 Quote

Marvin Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Draw after a torturous 90 mins of Robbie's tactics and only 1 up top. And wingers who just aren't good enough and an uninterested Naismith in the number 10 role with Walker on the bench again. Quote
Kenbo Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 I have a really bad feeling we are gonna get humped. God i hope I am wrong and this is the return to form we badly need.... Quote

JTJ Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Neil McCann is an interesting choice as temporary Inverness manager while Robbo is away. He likes to play out from the back so pressure on Brad McKay... Quote

TheBigO Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Gordon Smith Popescu Halkett Kingsley Haring McEneff Irving Walker Boyce Gnando Onus on FBs to get up the park with Haring covering them. I'd love to play Boyce and Naismith up front but neither Neilson nor Naismith can be trusted to keep him up top, around the box! If Haring isn't up to it (why's he on the bench then???), the team becomes this Gordon Smith Popescu Halkett Kingsley Kastaneer McEneff Irving Walker Boyce Gnando Walker with freedom to play from there inside with Kingsley overlapping all game, Smith perhaps a little more conservative making it a 3 at the back at times, but supporting Kas when the balls that side. Frankly its a toss-up on the wingers. Kas looks powerful and like he could make something happen. GMS sit out and see if he can make impact from bench and build confidence. Quote

Thomaso Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 I hope big Gnando starts but when was the last time one of our wingers or full backs got to the byline to whip on a decent cross? 🤔 Quote

The service the wingers get certainly doesn't help when they receive the ball when they are facing thwe wrong way with a defender right at their back. Maybe if we tried putting the ball behind defenders for the wingers to run onto or playing quick one two's we might get somewhere. Quote
Neil Dongcaster Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Again I hope for a far more convincing performance. Anything but a convincing win against a team containing 4 or 5 guys deemed not good enough for Hearts would be a horrendous result. Quote
