Are replays still in place for this season's tournament or are matches played to a finish?

Replays should be scrapped full stop, imo. Football scheduled can get too crammed as it is.

We deserve to be punished for running Celtic so close.  I think they'll give us Aberdeen away.  Won't be the OF.  Too much of a risk that we will win.

We don't need to fear anyone.

You think rod Stewart would have the brain function to rig it?

Aberdeen isn't in the draw for Round 2.   Tranent or Linlithgow would be my choice.

No.  I do concede he's good at something though and it's not singing.

Be odd to draw a lowland or highland league team away as there’s no need to consider changing to a bigger venue due capacity or fans safety reasons.

It would be very strange - nailed on for TV though. BBC Glasgow hoping for a cup shock, of course!

Lithgae Rose at Prestonfield for me please. 2 mins from the house and there are a couple great viewing points from outside the ground to catch the game from (assuming no one else has the same idea as me🤣).

Just don’t get caught up in the Barbed Wire above the Turnstiles near the Academy 😂 got tangled up in it when I was a kid sneaking over to play World Cup on the pitch 😂

Edinburgh City would be good walked around today all the tree and bushes are bare can see right in .

😂 Funny you should mention that, as I noticed it for the first time ever as I drove past a few weeks ago. Did think to myself that I wouldn't fancy getting caught in that razor wire trying to go ovef the roof. I was thinking more along the lines on the wall at the Academy up at the corner towards the Primary School corner, some decent trees to perch in on. 😂

Against that lot away from home ???

Hearts don't do beating that lot away from home, too scared.

Ladder is at the ready for viewing from the Social Club End

Disagree.  If a really small team manage to draw with a big club at home they deserve a replay at the big stadium and to split that gates.

You get a good view from Bobby Bennie the undertakers house and garden too.

I'd rather avoid the Rose though.

Replays are only scraaped cause of covid, so only one year.

Is there any seeding for this or do we have an equal chance of playing say Camelon or Dunfermline?

Would like us to try what they do in France where there's no replays but if a team is 2 or more divisions below then they get the home advantage.

Yeah and that's fine.  Permanently goes against the spirit of the cup and why also it makes it a harder trophy to win than the LC.

Correct there is no seeding in the Scottish Cup.

You'd find that the wee teams wouldn't want that due to the money involved.

Many would rather play at Tynecastle with a split gate than their own stadium.

Should just get rid of replays all together tbh

As above, part of the national cup is the chance of splitting gate receipts by earning a replay at a big club.  There's absolutely no way scrapping replays would ever get voted through.
