Could the 'no-one trying to save' be because it would be too risky to attempt a save now? i.e. too risky for the gossips to reveal themselves and townies might be wary of being misled? Investigated person is meaningless for 2 of the remaining 3 goons until they get re-investigated. Presume the gossips will know how the result gets reported - I think on-thread Yvonne described it as 'good'. Might be different in gossips' PM thread? Hope so @yvonnejambo - do you go for a minimalist approach to information delivering? Actually - there IS nobody super-good left to investigate! Its a fair point regarding the investigation. Although I took it to mean the two leaders if investigated on the first night would show as being good. Even more so if he hadn't been so unbelievably accurate. Although there's only two folk who need the double investigation. All the gossips need to do is choose the right two... It should have had the same line as with the goon groups, that if the head gets killed either of the others take over. So essentially they can still investigate at night. Rudi Skacel Posted July 3, 2020 Share Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) Yeah its only two players in that sence that need to be investigated twice, but in order to rule out anyone the gossips investigate as being a leader then they need to investigate twice. lets say for arguments sake dawnrazor who was a townie was investigated night one, he would need to be investigated again on night two to be confirmed as good. Meanwhile the two groups of goons have killed off two players (providing the doc didnt save one of course) (and I also know a goon can kill off another goon). If I was a gossip? I'd want to make sure so I'd definitely go for the double-check option. And try to protect that investigatee if needed during the day. Edit - but not too openly that they become a goon target at night...subtle save and hope the goons steer clear at night.
