Getting Relegated will be a night mare but if there is any positives to take at least we are going to see which players want to stay at hearts and who don.t

one of the positives is we will get rid of the dross like Loic Damour who has been quoted as saying he will have to reconsider his position let me do it for you mate and just Go as your total shit .

Plus we aint going to have Craig about either good days so its  going to be a rebuild better team and better future as it cant get any worse than the last 2 years !

That was a poorly advised interview by Damour. Not the time to be coming out in the press talking about options.  He’s never been overly popular amongst our support and he’s alienated himself even more now.

Like he will be the least bit bothered when his 70 to 90 percent wage arrives next month.

Another useless waste of money by Levein.

We didn't think it could be possible to get a worse midfielder than Malary Martin. Astoundingly Loic Damour managed to prove that wrong. At least Martin contributed 2 goals in a Hearts shirt.

Would be looking to get Damour Article12'd ASAP and that was before today's clown interview.

Agreed. The one bright side of relegation is the opportunity to rid ourselves of a number of absolute imposters who have been taking the field for us this season.

Damour like many other players at hearts just now think they are better than they are we are being relegated by these poor players.

What did he say ?

My reading  He wouldn't normally be anywhere near a club like hearts but he got a 4 year deal in a nice city. He's off now as he's too good for the championship. He admits that maybe difficult in the current climate.

Malory Martin V2.

“French midfielder won’t make an rash decision.”

If only he’d stuck to that on the pitch.

He cost us a few points with some awful mistakes. Part of the reason we are where we are.

Did Budge nod off when he was making those signings,it really is mindboggling.

Thick as pig shite.

Where does he think he will get paid to play football now? The whole industry has changed. Hundreds of players will soon be on the free agent list.

I've got a guy who played in the EPL sparingly last season, but played regularly in a championship team who won promotion the year before, he's willing to sign.

On paper it should have worked.

Good, some player bashing therapy. He couldn’t give a toss. Is clearly an ok player and I’d guarantee he’d hit a remarkable run of form in the last couple of months of his contract.

Let's just see what this list of options looks like, shall we?

One might of thought that with Malouray Martin's 3.5 year deal fresh in her conscience, she might have said to big Craigie boy - are you sure about this 4 year deal you propose

If course big Craig was desperate by that point. Hanging on for dear life. He'd have asked her to agree to anything, and duly did with Glen Whelan

All of this after telling us that Clare was a central midfielder and we could achieve with him and the dynamic duo of Bozanic and Irving

Is it really any wonder this season ended up as it has

I’d imagine his only option will be to stay at Hearts and scoop his very large basic wage for doing **** all.

I would be delighted if losers like him left the club but I can’t see it, no one is going to be offering him anywhere near what he’s getting here.

4 year contracts with high basics and low bonuses. What could possibly go wrong?

Over the past few years most of our “big” signings have been catastrophic; Sammon, Oshaniwa, Martin, Wighton (maybe not big but we paid a fee) and Damour.

It’s never guaranteed success making signings in the market that we are in, but we’ve been stung nearly every time we’ve gone full bank. How John Murray is still on the payroll is astounding.

There's also a mindset amongst some of the fans that if the club **** it up, it's ok cos the Bank of the fans will intervene and fix it

Perhaps the position of John Murray will be evaluated upon the long awaited review of football operations...

Yeah but he was available well into August which should’ve been a sign that nobody else wanted him or were prepared to give him the contract on the same wages, which he said in the interview.

Things started going seriously wrong on the recruitment front the moment we replaced Jaunma with Connor Sammon!

You could count on one hand the successful signings since.

Pretty much, don’t forget that he said our goalkeepers were great and then got one that was even worse.

I would sack him immediately then, hard enough for him to get another club never mind with no football for months

Does anybody actually know which players have relegation clauses in their contracts. Also, excuse my lack of knowledge, does a relegation clause mean the player is free to leave, the club is free to release them or both.

Connor Sammon has made a fortune out of football on the back of 6 decent months at Killie. Took him the best part of a decade and probably a few million in wages to work his way to his rightful level in Scottish League One.

He was one that I think everyone knew was pish before he arrived and he proved us right big time. Just be grateful thar Aberdeen pipped Levein to Curtis Main 😳

I work with many Blades fans and they were all absolutely amazed that we signed him.  All their comments about him at that time have been shown to be spot on.  Unfortunately.

A decent second half against Rangers in the Cup (after a truly abysmal first half) and a good game at Easter Road apart, he was horrendous every time I saw him. Slack, slow, commit the foul rather than make the effort to track back and win the ball, looked as if he couldn’t give a ****.

Another in the long list of signings who failed to come anywhere near the notion floated at the beginning of this project that we would only be signing players of the right character. Total waster.

How does the relegation clause work? Is it for the players to decide if they want to go or the club to decide if they want to get rid of them?

Some have a instant drop in wages.

The likes of Boyce will have a release clause that will say if a club pays a set fee he can go no questions asked.

Others may have the option of leaving for nothing I'd guess.

Who would want any of our players to be honest.

These are the kind of attitudes Stendel has had to work with, how easily can we empty someone with this clause ? Is it immediate ?

This has happened time and time again.

We replaced Keatings with Riley, and Riley with Wighton. We replaced Kitchen with Grzleack(sp), Rherras with Sowah, Ozturk with Hughes. All of these players were moved on by the choice of our head coach at the time.

This is the same player who passed the ball to the St Midden player to set up the goal that kept us bottom of the league.

Take your time Damour, you only have 4 years to decide, thanks to your luxury package your received from Mr Levein (seemingly had been chasing you for years)

I do not want to see this wage thief ever again in Hearts jersey! Good Riddance 👋🏻
