One of a very small club of two-time cup winners in the modern era. As for Souttar, he's the nearest we've had to Craig Levein in terms of a footballing centre back who can carry the ball out of defence and start attacks. It's so unfortunate Berra got injured when he did, along with Souttar. They were almost the perfect partnership in CD. John Souttar is stuggling in the middle of a makeshift defence at the moment and doing very well TWO games into his return !! No-one is addressing the elephant in the room, and that's the fact that, yes Berra was imobile, and slow etc, etc... but he was still dominant at high balls in the box and that is a glaring ommission in our defence. Look how easily the County striker got to a free header early on last night, I doubt that would have happened with CB there.
