dannymack
The 1983/84, 84/85, 85/86 away top is embarrassingly wrong with the V-neck incorrect, also according to a new buyer the quality is exactly the same as the retro tops that appeared on eBay lately. The one from 1970/71 looks ok but with the crest on it and the short sleeves* I'm give it a thumbs down. * Long sleeves that season
Guest ToqueJambo
Why would anyone buy one of the grey Mita tops? It will forever be associated with 7 of the worst days in our history. I'm still convinced if we'd worn maroon we would be talking about a double that season. Rocky jamboa
The silver top is one of our best ever looking strips imo but too many bad memories associated with it.

been here before
I like that silver top regardless as to its ultimate association. To be fair the 70s one isnt marketed as an exact replica top and is described as as "70s style replica".
Diadora Van Basten
I have an original silver strip and have never worn it out in case someone starts all that bad luck stuff. I remember that time as an exciting near miss and any pain was washed away when we finally won the cup.
Maroon Sailor
They got the collar wrong with the home shirts from that time as well The silver top is the best away shirt Hearts have ever had imo. Won the Tennents Sixes with it as well !

I actually quite like the fact that they don't make exact copies as the last thing you want is people trying to fob them off as originals in a few years time. The only thing I think they should have done better is the badge on the shirts. The original one from the 70s up to 1986 was a genuine thing of beauty I would literally kill, sell a kidney or remortgage the house for any of the home or away players shirts from 83 to

Locky
Was waiting on this. Someone on my facebook posted the silver one about 2 days ago complete with the official umbro tags. Was wondering how they'd got their hands on it.
neilnunb
I see it's available via the online store, only under the normal kits section, not the retro. Think I'll treat myself. 😎

WorldChampions1902
Original players away Alexanders long-sleeved shirt felt Number 11.
