Stop being a racist. The guy sounded like an upper class English Officer to me. Btw My father is English and supports independence. I am not racist having worked in England have have numerous English friends. If the guy had sounded an upper class Scottish twat or Welsh or Irish I would have used that description. Is the same band used when they visit Ibrox incidentally or was this independent of them? I’m not offended by the day or them being st the ground regardless, there’s much more shit going down that people moaning about clapping a few soldiers looking for a free game of football. Think the chelsea link is simply that Suggs is a supporter , rangers dance along with it similar to how they’ve “ adapted” a Tina Turner song for ulterior motives . Ive no idea what song is played at Ibrox when they invite the forces along nor care either , was just pointing out the Madness song was not what you’d said 👍🏻

Describing someone belonging to a particular class is so old fashioned and belongs in the 1970’s. How he sounds adds nothing to the value of your argument. If you don’t like what he represents or said fair enough...but criticising him for soundings a particular way or being English is wrong. It was a total embarrassment this afternoon. We had a band playing tunes no one recognised plus a stadium announcer playing pop music and making loud announcements thus drowning out the band's best efforts. Then a upper class English Officer encouraging more cannon fodder from the plebs. It's a divisive total embarrassment that all socialists should oppose and as I understand Rangers are the only other club in Scotland to support this nonsense its time we stopped this charade. As one who has bought wreathes for November 11th events at Haymarket and strongly recommends watching A Game of Two Halves which does not glorify war I applaud Hearts efforts to remember the sacrifice many have made but that is very different from encouraging recruitment for armed forces. Very selective of you to decide to commemorate the past on Nov 11th based on fact but, not support our forces based on current or future threats. Looking back has always been an easy point to argue where each and every one of us could/would have done it differently. Your current freedom now allows you to object to any future intervention or perceived threat, let’s hope (guess) you are correct. English officer.....cannon fodder and plebs sounds like you just watched blackadder...... 😁

Nookie Bear
I kind of imagined the band would move, rather than just play to the Main Stand? And it was an absolute surge of a song as well.
