I would buy them but honestly couldn't place a value on them. Has there been any recent trade and how would you facilitate a sale? Thank you for any advice. The value of the shares is dependent on the value of HMFC as a company. There are 156.5m shares issued. If HMFC is valued at £20m then a share would be worth 12.8p, at £25m it would be 16p and at £30m the value would be 19.2p. The "Net Assets" (Assets less Liabilities) in the recent accounts was £24.1m. That is one indicative value that could be used. Shares are only worth what someone would pay for them. There have been no recent trades where the price has been made public. Note that the transfer of shares from Bidco to FOH in 2021 wasn't based on the market value of the shares. Your friend's widow may have to advise the share registrar of your friend if she hasn't already done so. https://equiniti.com/uk/help-and-support/bereavement/transfer-sell-donate Agree a price with the lady, then complete this form (after reading the notes) and send it off to Equiniti. https://www.shareview.co.uk/4/Info/Portfolio/default/en/Home/Shareholders/Documents/STF_Combined.pdf Edited November 27, 2022 by Footballfirst
