AlimOzturk
This question is open to interpretation. Obviously everyones views of what domination means and which sports should count will vary People from different ages will have different views and obviously taste in sports will have an impact on your choices. Ill leave it to you guys to decide how you want to interpret the question. My list is 1 - Michael Phelphs. The guy is literally a human fish. He has won titles in 8 different swimming categories and is the most successful Olympian of all times. 2 - Usain Bolt. The guys the fastest man to have lived and considering he hasn't been accused of doping and won gold in both the 100 and 200 by blitzing the competition makes him 2nd on my list. 3- Floyd Mayweather. People hate him but nobody could touch him in boxing. Literally... 4 - Phil Taylor. Greatest darts player of all time and his 16 world titles and 8 in a row show how dominate he was. 5 - Edited December 13, 2018 by AlimOzturk

lauriesrank
Could we maybe limit this to only 1 from a sport.. certainly make it more difficult/interesting and of course debatable Anyway, in no particular order: Michael Phelps tiger Woods Pele Jonah Lomu Ronnie O'sullivan Martina Navratilova Michael Van Gerwyn Usain Bolt Mike Tyson Chuck Liddell Those are ten sports I have knowledge of, no point me saying that; Matilda Worthington Smythe is best at gymkhana

Martin_T
Any such list has to include Tiger Woods, especially late 90's / early 2000 Woods where he took the sport to an entirely new level, holding all 4 majors after the 2000 Open Championship at St Andrews. The concept of 'Tiger Proofing', lengthening courses to make it more difficult, shows just how good he was.

Anyone cutting around with a pair of Navratilova Pan-Am's? Jordan was the first billionaire sportsman, and is considered the greatest ever basketball player. (Despite LeBron James' best efforts...)Most of the name's mentioned, will fade from history, outwith the sphere of their own sport. Your great, great grandkids, will still know who Michael Jordan was. Most youngsters will know MJ as the cry baby meme.
