daveyhmfc
Hope we get a result today. Unfortunately, I can't go as pay day still a week away, son's birthday on Wednesday and accordingly, a wee bit of belt tightening taking place. How I long for the days when I could pay £3 to get into Tynie.

There would be quite a few new year derbies in there when everyone and their dog wants to be there, so I would imagine we would get over the 18k mark back then. And it’s a nice day for walk-ups

Quote There would be quite a few new year derbies in there when everyone and their dog wants to be there, so I would imagine we would get over the 18k mark back then. The capacity was reduced in 2005 from 18,000 to 17,420. Don't think we did get over 18,000 in the all-seated, pre new main stand Tynecastle. The closest we came: 17,893 Aug 99 Rangers (0-4) 17,676 Apr 05 Hibs (1-2) 17,657 Feb 98 Celtic (1-1 Quitongo) 17,619 Dec 00 Hibs (1-1) 17,587 Nov 03 Bordeaux (0-2) Now we can top that lot with a match against Livingston (Meadowbank Thistle).
