Livingston Dot Count

Hope we get a result today. Unfortunately, I can't go as pay day still a week away, son's birthday on Wednesday and accordingly, a wee bit of belt tightening taking place. How I long for the days when I could pay £3 to get into Tynie.

When our capacity was 18,200 ( before pitch lengthing ) Did we ever get over 18,000 ?

There would be quite a few new year derbies in there when everyone and their dog wants to be there, so I would imagine we would get over the 18k mark back then.

I think the official capacity before that was 18,008.

My guess is 17,902 as todays official attendance

I think it will be higher - the club seems to have done more to release unused seats than it did for the St Mirren game. And it’s a nice day for walk-ups

The capacity was reduced in 2005 from 18,000 to 17,420. Don't think we did get over 18,000 in the all-seated, pre new main stand Tynecastle. The closest we came:

17,893  Aug 99 Rangers (0-4)
17,676  Apr 05  Hibs (1-2)
17,657  Feb 98 Celtic (1-1 Quitongo)
17,619  Dec 00 Hibs (1-1)
17,587  Nov 03 Bordeaux (0-2)

Now we can top that lot with a match against Livingston (Meadowbank Thistle).

Was in the shop 10 minutes ago, decent queue onto the plaza, about 30-40 in line
