Just as an aside Bale spent 20 minutes in the Liverpool dressing room after the CL final on Saturday.

Just saying likes!

I'm not sure....He'll probably ask the green brigade first, they should be able to guide him on world politics and the potential impact on the middle east crisis should he accept a step down to the Madrid gig..

I await the mis-spelled banner created by a primary 4 home economics class.

Pochettino to Madrid

Allegri to Chelsea

Zizou to BBC R1

Nick Grimshaw to Juve

Think I've got it worked out

He'd need to take a huge pay cut.

Liverpool have a fairly low, (relatively) basic wage policy.

Barely touched him!

In all seriousness, yes it was bad but the way people go on is as if he stabbed him.  Duncan Ferguson and Roy Keane done worse most games.

The action itself wasn't what was bad about it. It was to do that, in your last ever game (which was also the World Cup final) defied belief.

Sent off in your last ever match which happens to be a World Cup final and you’re captain. Happens all the time right enough

Indeed. When you're also your country's best player by far, their best chance of getting a winner before it goes to a penalty shootout, and their best penalty taker if it does go to a penalty shootout. Talk about going out in style, many a **** was not given that night

Wenger?

If he did go, and he does as bad as his last six or seven years at Arsenal, then he won’t last long.

Still no too late to sign him up for next season. CL can continue with DoF role and ZZ can guide us to SPL glory or even the double.

Resume not really what we're looking for. Only managed one club. We need a guy who's kicked around a bit. An Alex Miller type if you will. More of your journeyman manager. Loads of experience. Not a manager who's only ever know success from a young age. That's no good. We need someone who's failed and now wants to turn it around. Someone our fans can abuse. Not someone with an excellent past making us feel guilty while giving him abuse.

Perfect example. Seen and done it all. Well at least the "seen it" part.

Done absolutely hee haw. Although there was that final.

Nah, that probably comes under the "now I've seen it all" category.

Poch'll be their first choice but I think he'll turn them down. Low (who's also just signed a new contract) is another option.

Dark horse: Guti.

I think they do they are a very, very rich club and unlike Madrid not overtly crooked. Although I dare say someone will point to some shadiness by Bayern.

Still hurting from Saturday boyo?  Love it!

Cruyff Turn

He'd be mental to turn that down, there's nothing more he can really achieve as a manager, maybe become the French manager 4 years down the line and win the WC.

Good appointment. A sign of the way Madrid seem to be going to be a bit more sustainable and perhaps rely more on the young Spanish core at the club.

it is still a risk as the only things he has won as manager was as spain u19 and u21 manager. he did have a close to 70% win ratio at porto but did not win anything

Zidane must have been one of the longest serving managers they have had for a while.

Nobody seems to last any length of time there.
