Thommo414
But the champions league is a terrible over commercialised circle jerk for the rich club owners of Europe and is the single worst thing to happen to football! Thats only gone and produced one of the all time great comebacks (and another very near comeback ) and then had 7 goals in the first leg of a semi final .. Your wild guess is off the mark. It's one of those things which had some initial impact for me but then becomes tedious. The lyrics are far too serious for football and it's done it's dash for me. I was only vaguely aware that Celtic have copied them for some inexplicable reason.

My view of football is that a team throws everything at the keeper when they’re getting beat. When City were getting beat by Liverpool and United they looked lost and were still playing a passing game and trying to walk it in the net. I prefer urgency and dare I say it shooting from range to test the keeper. All about opinions though ?

I keep hearing this, but I prefer the stat that Liverpool are undefeated in the entire Champions League this season, it's a much more impressive stat, plus Roma have lost 7 games at home in Seria A this season, so they do concede goals at home, and they've probably never faced a strike force at home as potent as Liverpool's, who I'm convinced will score at least once, and probably twice as Roma have to open up, and that plays into Liverpool's hands. On another note, I'm uber excited after that last night as I won a competition I entered through MasterCard, and I'm off to Kiev with a mate of mine for the final, irrespective of who's playing. Flights, hotels, transfers, match tickets, personal transport to the game from the hotel and back again after it, and spending money, I'm on cloud nine!
