I'm not that bothered about how it all happened, the guy wanted out and Vlad made it easier for him, instead of letting him play the remainder of his 18 month contract and possibly selling him in one of the transfer windows(making us some needed cash) his agent found a way of him getting out of the circus a lot quicker than expected, Rules are rules,he uesd them to his advatage and I'm pretty sure Vlad would use them to his. No difference at all,at that time we had no manager,no players and a maniac saying we will win the CL in 5 years time. When we left we still had no manager, player were at each others throats or not talking to one another and maniac talking ,still, a load of pish. Jambo83
From the 4 players who left Hearts recently and are now with the Old Firm, Webster is the only one I have real contempt for. Hartley: Gave us his best, never denied he was a Celtic fan at heart, we got good ? for him when he left. I wish him all the best. He thoroughly deserves league winner's medals and Champions League football. Elvis: Gave us his best years and played for the jersey just as strongly as Mackay, Colquhoun, Robertson did Velicka: Scored some important goals for us, was mistreated by Hearts and underpaid compared to his compatriots who done less for the club. Can't blame him for leaving and then joining Rangers, good luck to him. Webster: Hearts moulded this guy into an established Scottish international, offered him a handsome salary to stay, and at least guarantee the club a fair price if he was sold on in future. Sounds ok to me, not for this **** obviously though. Manouvred his way out the club, Hearts were shafted, and has suffered the consequences. Spotting the difference isn't hard is it. Vlad could still and more than likely would have made a small fortune from AW,remember it was Vlad who stopped AW from playing a full 18 months before his contract was up at the very least 2 signing windows. Vlad fecked up big time here,he fecked AW about with the usaual threats but his agent was cute and found a bylaw which AW used to his full advatage.
