nah I'm sure they'll get a pen last minute if needed.

With Collum the ref there is a very good chance it will happen.

Christie second yellow

He can't complain, late hopeless tackle from behind

Not as bad as the one Miller didn’t get booked for though.

Fitzroy Pointon

Bugger it. Turned it over to the Everton game and saw Rooney scoring an absolute peach.

Hope well can hold out and defeat these *****, sick up to the back teeth of Brenda pretending it’s meaningful.

Odds on it would be them to end the run. Wee guy Robinson is doing well there.....excuse the pun !

Hart is the most over rated player ever.

Can't wait to see the Rooney goal

He then makes a terrible tackle from behind and could have been sent off

Penalty Celtic and 1-1

Oh my Rooney!

That is a lowish frisbee from his own half after the keeper's poor clearance but still had two West Ham heads to clear on its way into the goal

Rooney goal was a peach, technique was perfect. Alonso, Beckham etc were all part 'hope' but he knew that was going on before he even hit it.

He's actually correct, it is the feet.

Extract from the 2017/18 FA Law Book

A player is in an offside position if:

  • any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and
  • any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent
  • The hands and arms of all players, including the goalkeepers, are not considered.

A player is not in an offside position if level with the:

  • second-last opponent or
  • last two opponents

Really? I thought that it was any part of the body with which you can legally play the ball.

Just double checked and it would appear yo are correct.

Was sure I saw an SFA video that said otherwise.

The SPL really don't even try to make it subtle any more, a corrupt and bias league with no shame in showing it.

How many penalties do Celtic get ?

Must be a world record

Brenda was in the paper saying he expected to get more penalties. SFA seem to be obliging.

You'd think they'd at least try to make it subtle, as it happens it's a subtle as an 8.0 earthquake.

There's been wars less conspicious than it.

Footballfirst

Talking of inept referees, in the first half Martin Atkinson gave a yellow card to Liverpool's keeper after he came rushing out his box to take out the Stoke player as he ran in on goal.

I know that there is a double jeopardy rule if it is both a penalty and a red card offence when the player makes an attempt to play the ball, but given that the foul was awarded outside the box, then red should have have been shown to Mingulet.

These decisions even out over a season.

Both Celtic and Newco get the same number of dodgy decisions.

Now move along please. Nothing to see here.

Motherwell must be absolutely raging. Robbed twice in 4 days by penalties that never were. Collum couldn't give it quick enough. Sickening.
