After handling questions about his own squad, his selection options and possible tactics for this weekend he's asked for his reaction to Celtic?s midweek exit from the Champions League at the hands of Astana of Kazakhstan. ?To be honest, they paid the price for not having the strength in depth required. Being unable to cover for injuries cost them dear. With respect, Bitton in central defence and Forrest through the middle up front are not what?s required at this level. I think Brendan puts a brave face on it by saying that he had no desire to strengthen before the tie but I think there?s little doubt that he?s not getting the support from the chief executive in terms of resources to recruit the players he needs to achieve his ambitions for the club.? From the options below please choose the likeliest consequence of this press briefing. A Celtic issue a statement saying , ? We thank Mr Wright for his feedback. Tommy Wright is later told that he has upset Celtic and is told that Brendan Rogers feels that there is an unwritten rule among managers about commenting on other clubs. Wright replies, ?Aye, well he?s only been here for a year. Wait till he?s kept his team in the top six for four years in a row. Then he?ll know the rules.? They weren't the kind of players to fit into Cathro's footballing philosophy. "You know, you're trying to play football and you're bringing in players who play a direct game.
