Bubba Watson.

Brash adverts on his shirt and visor, ridiculous golf shoes with G4 written on them, and he's playing with a feckin' pink ball!

Obviously knows he's not picking up a winners cheque so he's taking any sponsor's deal he can.

"You've got 156 of the best players in the world here," said McIlroy. "If we can't hit within that avenue, you might as well pack your bags and go home."

Says Rory, before shooting a 6 over par 78

Couldn't even tell you who he is!

Former pga tour golfer, not liked by many tour pro's, I believe. Bubba Watson certainly doesn't like him

Sensational stuff from Justin Thomas. - 9 on a US Open course. 18th is 667 yards today and he got on in two including a 290 yard carry 3 wood! Stuck it to 8 foot and drained the putt for eagle.

The top of the board is bunched up nicely.

The birdie at the 5th was something else for Thomas.

He actually putted the ball backwards and somehow drained it

Fleetwood making a pig's ear out of the last hole.

I know this gets said often, but wish they'd launch the idiots who shout nonsense.

Absolutely - It also has limited appeal and impetus when the player stonks a ball wide and out of position.

Although the shoutout earlier in the round was quite funny - if they could come up with a variance of shout outs then it could be entertaining.

Its very tense golf with the wind conditions, pin placement and runoffs making life tricky.

I cant believe Harman is still up there given he has been out of position from the tee and is not the longest hitter by any means. His FW accuracy is excellent though.

What shout was that?

The shout 'in the hole' off the tee on a par 5...throw them out, please.

Yeah, he's played some absolute crackers

Commentators curse with regard Harman! Ouch.

Awesome round from Matsuyama.

Outstanding, first time in contention in a major and he's strolling it.

Well done to him.

?500 back for Koepka

?54 back for Fowler

Looking for Thomas to get to -9 to get something back on him

Had Garcia @ 40/1 for The Masters and now Koepka @ 40/1 for the US Open

Golf is the only thing I really bet on but to get the first 2 major winners of the year at those odds is something I would never have imagined.

I had Garcia in the Masters, thought I had a chance with Fowler, but he fell apart in this one.

Superb going to get both though mate,

Well done
