Scott Brown

This is a scandalous decision. I no longer understand what constitutes a straight red and I don't think I am alone. If the guys at the top won't back the guys in the middle the game is goosed.

That's unbelievable.

Unfortunately it's not though, it's utterly predictable. Having ballsed up the appeal process they then go and falsely justify their decision to allow him to play in the Scottish Cup semi.

To be fair it's a yellow card based on what Scott Brown would normally get for that kind of challenge.

Presumably he threatened to pull out of the England game again...

I think there's probably alot in this.

He probably didn't threaten but I bet they're kissing his arse.

so that's only deemed as a yellow but you can get a yellow for some minor thing like, taking back to the ref...fekin pathetic

Just a good old fashioned yellow huh..

I'd like to see this footage extended. Knows exactly what he's doing. Gets up and is walking away because he knows he's untouchable.

Every opposition player runs to the scene of the crime pretty much because they know its a bad one. Celtic players start to get back in position for the free kick. Unbelievable scenes. As others have said, our game is knackered.

Scottish football really is a joke and is getting progressively worse due the sickening and blatantly obvious bias shown to both arse cheeks.

If it wasn't for my love of HMFC I'd be out.

Disgraceful, quite clearly a red card to anyone without hooped specks on.

We could do with Ann or someone from Hearts getting high up in the SFA it seems to be helpful.

Just remember, when either Celtic or Rangers claim 'these things always even themselves out' it's not with reference to every team. Just those two.

They don't want parity for us all, they're only interested in ensuring parity between themselves.

Hope the ref gets hauled over the coals for such a poor decision against poor broonie.

Still boiling over some of the decisions in Hearts Celtic going back ages.. Wasn't there an outrageous dive a couple of years back that they got a penalty from?  Then Browny calls our man a cheat.. and Walker is pulled up!  Then there was Gomis red card for less than what was going on there... wasn't it 89 mins with ten men, did that get overturned? prob not

As said, this decision stems from the Halliday booking on Sunday.

'Rangers got away with one then so we better even it up with Broonie'

**** everyone else.

I actually despise Scottish football.

On the plus side - one of the Sevco thugs might break his legs at the weekend.

It's time all the non OF clubs got together and set up a break away league and left the OF to play each other 38 games a season.

Unfortunately our football authorities are not fit for purpose but are not held to account. Our clubs, as a collective body, are exactly what the authorities like. The clubs are pathetic, for want of a better word.

If it wasn'f for all that we have achieved in saving our club, I would walk away from scottish football now. I seriously hope questions are being asked behind closed doors ...but I wont hold my breath as it would appear the glasgow pair are beyond reproach

I have to say I have never truly bought into the whole corrupt/bias chat re SFA in recent history...

I went with the thought process whilst historically there would have been west coast bias towards them, it was pretty much a problem that could no longer exist in todays open and transparent world...

I have never bought into the whole anti Hearts shoutings either...

But!

That decision alone....the easiest red card shout I have seen in years...his body language after made me think there would be ZERO chance of an appeal being successful, now shows me that beyond any doubt the game up here has no integrity and again shows us up as a laughing stock to anyone looking in...

Disgusting and blatant beyond belief...

Does kinda make you wonder why we all bother really when vile decisions like that are 'made'....

At a guess, the fans of 10 other SPFL clubs will be saying pretty much the same tonight as is being said here.

But that is not enough. The game in Scotland is run by representatives of more that a certain two clubs. What are those other managements doing to tackle all the pro-OF nonsense that is going on?

Was going to post the same.

The Gomis red and the Guidetti dive are recent decisions which stick I'm my mind.

About time all non old firm clubs get some balls and collectively challenge these decisions

It's all on radio BBC sportsound just now.

Of course it's the correct decision according to them.

Our media are just as disgusting as the crooks who run our game. Its their fault our game will never change. They won't allow it. I detest them as much as the suits and as much as clubs with no balls or backbone.

Just out of curiosity. Were any opposition players booked after all the pushing and shoving was over?

Every other club should now challenge every single red card, thus bringing the disciplinary process to a standstill, we must appeal everything.

Our decision not to appeal Walkers and Nicholsons bans now looks like a sign of weakness from Hearts

Instead of it being extended for a frivolous appeal it's downgraded to a yellow by virtue of it being a wrongful decision. What planet are these imbeciles resident on? Anyone who thinks Scottish football is a level playing field for all clubs needs their heads examined.

It's a futile appeal done for one reason, it should be increased but he will probably have it reduced to a yellow. You think if a Hearts player had over 150 bookings in his career the press might flag it up?

Are you a mind reader or just that you know the Weegie soothe sayer????

Are folk really still surprised by these decisions? Business as usual for the weegie scum

Yes me....totally surprised because the decision was as stick on red as you can get anywhere at any level in the world....

There was no way any right and proper organisation would see it any other way...

Mr Magoo would have shown a red and possibly two if he could....

I am totally lost for words with that...it can not be allowed to go unchallenged and transparency not requested....

The people who have the power to affect change don't use it - the fans.

There are numerous decisions during games that go 'in favour' of the Glasgow Two but because football is a game of opinions and very few actual rights / wrongs then things can be hidden using the well worn phrase - 'honest mistake'.

We then have panels that sit when an 'honest mistake' or even a correct decision are looked at where, low and behold, the Glasgow Two appear to do rather well. Brown's red, Boyd's headbutt, the Sevco player who elbowed the St Johnstone player. And then we have Jamie Walker who was given a 2 match ban for winning a penalty that ultimately had no impact on the end result. Celtic players have been diving all season long - how many have been pulled up?

If we want our clubs & those who run the game to listen then the simple answer is for fans of the other teams to boycott games against the Glasgow Two - at home and through in Glasgow. Almost all of their away games are broadcast live on TV - it would be a very visible protest if they were playing in empty stadiums every week apart from a couple of thousand of their own fans.

The problem is that fans don't have the stomach for such action - I'm there to watch Hearts, I've paid my money, etc which is fair enough. But if you want to make a statement that might actually be listened to then moaning on internet forums is not going to do it. Nothing will change and we will be having the same discussions until the end of time.

I was arguing with one Celtic fan who was saying that if the ref hadn't awarded the penalty, then brown wouldn't have done the tackle that he did so all in all a fair outcome.

What a complete and utter knob of a man. I asked square did he think it was a red card and he replied 'well the fact that a panel decided that it was a yellow then no'

When we become wholly fan owned will the board whoever that may be ask certain questions on our behalf ( i do realise that not all questions will be asked) as its an absolute joke. Celtic & Hibs seem to be running the leagues just now.

Just a thought

Brown should have added another couple of games added to his suspension for even trying to appeal. They only appealed as the old firm game is this weekend.

Look at the way the FA acted this way and look at our lot an absolute embarrassment.

If they hadn't been playing Rangers in a semi final I would have put a lot of money on them not even appealing that decision, even they must have been surprised at it being reduced to a yellow card.
