kila
For the US Open, the USGA's host broadcaster have a small scoreboard on screen all the time down at the bottom right so you know always who is where and on what hole. They also have the yardage for every shot next to the golfer's name on the popup and what shot it is in relation to par. So much better and insightful. Rest of the tournaments on TV it's a story of rarely seeing the scoreboard and getting little information about the shot about to be played. The Augusta board control all the TV stuff and they are stuck in the past. Their TV scoreboard is shite, don't get much information on the shot (sometimes the yardage). Good that they are allowing the pro tracer, but the coverage could be so much better. I also really hate that they insist all commentators refer to the crowd as 'patrons'. Such snooty bullshit to my ears!
