I don't know if I've got OCD?

I can't believe that someone wearing a white top didn't have a spot of dirt on it while playing 93 minutes in. a competitive match - how can someone whose supposed to be pulling strings in midfield ,breaking up play blah blah blah not have his top marked - easy,he's a lazy so n so,wage thief, hope he enjoys the spring in Edinburgh before he goes to someone whose willing to take him.

Most shirts were pristine at full time. Contrast that with Sam's.

I want him emptied but I thought he did show a positive reaction today to be fair

If you want to make the most of someone like him you need good movement ahead of him, we have no movement or anyone wanting the ball

He's shit because he can't be arsed and because he's nowhere near as good as a few seem to think.

Thunderstruck

He spent today passing sideways or backwards due to the lack of movement around him. That aside, he was doing the work of two men as it would appear that Djoum left his appetite for the game in Africa.

It is no surprise that he has been more effective with Cowie to work with.

Loved him at first, then when the chips were down he hid and bottled it. Luxury player, not what we need. We've missed Cowie like mad imo.

I don't think Tziolis played badly. The big problem is we have no width and he has no one looking to receive a pass.

He is great at the stroll but does not have the work rate or the energy. Also totally one footed

Tam McManus early on in the game on the radio said "he's a player"...said he was the one looking for the ball etc. Maybe his game went backwards like the rest of the team as the game progressed though.

Rudi Hates Hibees

Thought he was better today than he was Wednesday, wouldn't be hard though. I would rather him along side Cowie. Hopefully that'll be the case on Wednesday.

Did notice the strip but thought he was probably one of our best players today. Not a major accolade. He at least got a foot in and tried to get the team moving forward but had little in front of him to work with. Plenty of others worthy of greater criticism

been here before

Frustrated by him today. Thought he showed more today than on Wednesday. Broke down a few attacks and showed more willing in tackles.

However when he came out of position, won his tackle or made his pass or whatever he took a **** age to get back to where he should have been.

And as for his amount of backpasses...

Didnt notice how muddy his top was Im afraid.

After an impressive career his legs have gone and he's enjoying a few months in one of Europes most beautiful cities. You can see fleetingly in games the quality technique and composure which allowed him to play for Greece and some big clubs but he's well past his best and we are miles off being good enough to carry such a luxury.

I quite like Tam NcManus as a pundit.

Doubt anyone else on here does.

I agree with you. He's quite refreshing and talks a lot of sense.

Absolute nonsense...he was only player today worthy of the name...apart from maybe Nicholson who for once played like a man and took responsibility.

Big man was excellent today, but you can't blame him for lack of movement, ability to control a pass or use space.

He isn't a killer ball player but he kept possession well when presented with zero options. Put a decent midfield ball player or no. 10 in there (Djoum was awful) and the improvement in team performance would be massive

He is just too slow and can't work the midfield. Can look good on the ball but a lot of the game passes him buy. A midfield with him an Nowak was too pedestrian. Djoum wasn't great either.

Glad this free-loader has his own thread ..as I mentioned on another topic, this guy doesn't flatter to deceive he just deceives certain people - the guy is murder.

10 mins against sevco then a bet better against Motherwell (only be use of goal) ..and beyond hopeless against that lot X 2.

Him and Martin are brutal and they will be every time they wear our shirt. Martin 3 year contract ****me

Hes mince

Wants too much time on the ball and always looks to play it backward

Get rid

He was the best (only?) player on the park today.

Describing Tziolis as one footed is like describing Davie Cooper as one footed. He's a playmaker. As others have said above he needs players in front of him making intelligent runs. If they make them he'll find them 9 times out of 10. This stroller label was first ascribed after his introduction against Rangers. It wasn't because he can't be arsed to run about. It's because he doesn't need to sprint to get away from opponents. He'll let the ball do the work. Imagine how effective he'd be with the runs of Stephane Adam, Colin Cameron, or even God forgive me, Cummings in front of him.

But at the moment those runs arent happening.

I completely disagree he can't be arsed, or is just here for the money - i'm sure he's not short of a few bob.

Against Hibs in both games he was gesticulating, coaxing, encouraging his team mates to make runs. And getting pretty frustrated about their inability to see the opportunity.

If he can't get it out his team mates when he's standing 5 or 10 metres away in real time, how the hell can Cathro hope to 'get his ideas' over to some of his squad from the technical area.

There's a few duds in there no doubt.

But IMHO The Greek Stroller isn't one of them.

Our best passes today all came from Djoum and he is being hounded on here tonight.

Spot on. Thought he played really well today and I'm surprised to see a thread singling him out for criticism when other players are far worse. We have struggled to win a game since Djoum has come back and im struggling to see why there are no threads about his lack of effort.

Jambothommo ..it's all about opinions and I respect yours - but I'm just not getting him his mind is slow, he is slow and he continually try's to be overly clever in the last third and gets caught out. Fingers crossed it comes good!

And Martin well I haven't seen a thing so far ..dead ball specialist we were told - my hole.

Only seen him at tynie, looked at first he could be class, the interviews I've seen suggest he is off after short term deal.We have nobody better to play in his place. I would like to see a team built around him as he no doubt has great quality, who knows maybe him and Takis can bring more Greek gods to tynie.

Absolutely spot on, ive said before he is caught in possession because nobody in front of him is making a move, his appearance in the Rangers game was top drawer because we had positivity and people getting into position to take a pass from him.

You dont get 60 odd caps for greece being s h i t

The only player in our whole midfield who is composed, has vision and the quality to make accurate passes. He has the ability to take 2 or three players out with a pass f2f.

No his fault the rest of them aren't working hard enough to create an angle for a pass and are quite frankly dugshit.

You'd be saying exactly the same if it was Pirlo or Xavi, these guys aren't there to run about clobbering folk.

Im not going to disagree, we all know where Djoum should play, and its not where Tziolis plays, being at the front/ centre of midfield is different to being in front of the defence, different pressure/ style and end game

So basically Tziolis is class but there are excuses every week for why this doesn't show.

The pitch is crap.

The game is too fast.

There is no movement.

Etc

Etc

I think back to Derek Fergusson when he played for us, he was top drawer but got slated for what were deemed wayward and badly timed passes, when actually it was the players around him that lacked vision

Djoum is being hounded on here tonight though, and he did far far more today than Tziolis despite spending over a third of the game out of position. Why aren't excuses for Djoum being rolled out like they are on a weekly basis for Tziolis?
