Lets hope the first thing that happens is they assess our existing coaches from youth level upwards and clear out the deadwood. We have too many players fighting for not enough places which isnt good for morale. With regards to 10 or 11 youth players we had out on loan they are at an age where if first team football is unrealistic for them then they must be let go. And that begs the question. These boys came through our system so if they are not good enough for lower league teams what does this say about our academy. Why don't we send out our most promising 16,17 year olds on loan as competitive football will surely be more beneficial to them in their long term development. And it will also be a good indicator of the boys who have the best chance of making it. ( if we have any ). And that is a question in itself do we have any 16,17 year olds who could actually go on loan and do alright ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
