frankblack Posted June 9, 2008 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I had to take a diversion to get onto Drumbrae this morning, with the police blocking off 3/4 of Craigmount View. It is a bit concerning that there has been problems at the primary school, however it is not a surprise since Somerfield was shut by the property developers and the site has been left to rot until next year. When we had the shop open, with an 8pm closure time it made the area safer to be in. I am now anxious to find out more details, and will make some enquiries when I get home. Police everwhere between the casino and the roundabout at East Craigs, and also a couple at the casino door. Mayburys gone mental! Possibly not the same though as the one on the thread though. There's been another shooting in the Lothians. A man's been found limping through a field near Pathhead on Monday night. He'd told his rescuer he'd been stabbed in the leg, but paramedics said it was obviously a gunshot wound. The man's been released from hospital, but police are still trying to find out what happened to him - he's 25, black and he has his hair in cornrows. The police are also investigating claims of gunshots in East Craigs earlier that day.
