The Betfred bet is one to keep for the final I reckon, a bit like the world cup final thread that was on here with Coral bookmakers when Italy played France. Basically you bet to lift the trophy outright so a draw is eliminated from the equation, and you cash in on the free bet, assuming you get to keep the free stake money of course. Italy were faves last time so I put ?55 on them, and ?45 on France at the slightly bigger price, so that the net profit worked out around the same and I think I got back around ?42 profit no matter who won, if that makes sense Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It would be in the Dutch best interest to field a weakened side, they've already won the group, and a result for Romania would see off 2 of the fancied sides whilst protecting their main stars from injury. Probably not though seeing as I have money on it !! Not a chance, UEFA have already said that Holland can field a second string against Romania because it means they are using squad rotation well. The Romanians are 10/11 faves for their game against Holland reserves, which if they won would knock out both France and Italy and give them an easier route to the final.
