Do you also remember full backs who couldn't cross and wingers who wouldn't take on their man? Do you remember no-one ever gambling on where a ball would go but rather stand and watch before a hopeless chase? Do you remember a static midfield that would lose every battle and be 2nd to every ball? What about defenders that would just launch balls over the top without any thought for accuracy or if there was an easier option? Today was horrendously reminiscent of 2/3 years ago when the concept of trying to play football was totally alien to the team. Awful.
