leginten
I'm still stunned at the SNP winning in East Lothian. It's been Labour for all my life and probably before I was born too. The ref result was around 62% No. Why are they not voting Labour? Disillusioned, I think. I'm astonished too. I remember on the night of the 2011 Holyrood elections posting on here that if an independence referendum resulted in a No vote, there would be a cull of the SNP in the next Westminster and Holyrood campaigns. It's still possible that there will be an SNP collapse in 2016, but tonight is almost unbelievable.

Gizmo
I'm still stunned at the SNP winning in East Lothian. It's been Labour for all my life and probably before I was born too. The ref result was around 62% No. Why are they not voting Labour? Many reasons but George Kerevan is a superb candidate, even in "normal" election times. Glad to have had the opportunity to vote for him.
JamboGraham
Whilst happy to acknowledge and recognise the incredible achievement of the SNP tonight. Within seconds of Alex Salmond making his acceptance speech I was returned to that unease I had during the referendum. Scotland has always had a voice (or a roar if you wish) in Westminster. By all means acknowledge and celebrate the SNP success but never ignore the fact that Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrat MP's have been, and will be in future representing Scotland.
