The Well fans certainly wanted shot of him. They thought he was playing pish because he wanted to be at Hearts and wasn't trying a leg for them! To be fair - with Vlad getting rid of Velicka half way through the season it is his fault Elliot got quite so much game time towards the end of the season However, I have defended Calumn - his form around the Rix time, in particular the NYD Celtic game, was excellent. I do think he benefitted from players like Janny and Rudi that season though I do think his usefulness to Hearts has really disappeared My concern is - having seen 2 years ago that he did have the talent - that his talent has been wasted because he has nobody to learn from / look up to from a striking and maturing point of view. There is no striking prowess left at the club, no leadership, and no forward relating coaching to speak of.
