McKay seems to be getting the armband when Wilson is off in the friendlies and he is the obvious replacement for Wilson should he be unavailable. Chris Benoit Posted July 18, 2014 Share Posted July 18, 2014 I think it's a problem the amount of emphasis put on captains and vice captains in this country. As long as everyone is communicating on the pitch it shouldn't matter who's calling heads or tails before kick off. There's an old school view that your captain is undroppable, totally disagree with that. It should be your best 11 not 10 plus some cart horse who's been here longest.
