All roads lead to Gorgie

I suppose after a free scoring tournament that was bound to happen.

Against Brazil the Germans couldn't help but score. Tonight they seem a bit shy.

Have a sinking feeling that Argentine anti-fitba will win the day somehow. They remind me of McLean's Dun Utd in the 80s.

Germany have lacked punch. Trying to walk the ball in at times instead of having a pop.

Just surprised at Argentinas approach with the attacking prowess they have on the park but all the same, they probably don't have a great centre midfield to be more open against Germany.

Not a team I remember as being boring.

I actually fell asleep for the start of the second half. What a boring game of football.

Cornette squared.

McLean's Dundee Utd anti-football? I've heard it all now.

But I agree, Argentina to win. They've been very good, though.

So much for the predicted hammering that Germany would give Argentina after Germany's destruction of Brazil.

Not sure if you're old enough to remember but they were boring to watch.

Stick on for Boateng to miss the key pen at this rate of going!

I saw them loads of times. Some of their European performances featured some of the best football I've ever seen.

Anyway, back to the World Cup.

So close! Just have a feeling Argentina are eventually going to put one of those chances away.

Argentina reverted to type in that second half.Their spoiling style has stifled the majority of their games since the last 16 and I think they will be undeserved winners.Really annoys me that in such an open competition its probably gonna be a team like them that win it

Agreed, including the defeat of Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Argentina have had the same problem all tournament. Nobody to supply the bullets for Messi. They have a desperately in creative midfield.

Will be very disappointed for Germany if they don't do it. It'll be Holland in the 1970s all over again. Argentina are a hard, hard nut to crack.

Time and time again, the rest of them **** it up with the wrong decision, or a poor touch.

we're at the end of a long gruelling tournament so just assume I made a great joke about Brazil nuts being easier to crack...
